
Lanieta Rauqeuqe
Lanieta Rauqeuqe is a seasoned economist and public sector policy and leadership practitioner. She previously served in technical and leadership roles at the Reserve Bank of Fiji, the International Monetary Fund’s (IMF) Pacific Islands Regional Resident Representative office and the IMF’s Executive Board in Washington DC.
Building on this experience, Lani co-founded Sautu Solutions, a consultancy firm that delivers analytical, advisory and research services on macroeconomic policy and financial sector development issues. Lani also serves on a fintech and public sector boards in Fiji, bringing her global and local experience to formulate practical and culturally grounded solutions for Pacific contexts, while driving impactful leadership and development.
She has a keen interest in helping people and organizations embody leadership in their person (language use, emotions and body) and cultures. Across her work, she is passionate about advancing leadership approaches that promote integrity, accountability and support development pathways which uplift people and communities locally and across the Pacific.
Lani is an aunt to 14 nieces and nephews and is an avid rugby follower.
