Event Overview
The Legacy Leadership Symposium 2024 was held in Nadi, Fiji and brought together Pacific leaders for a powerful three-day gathering focused on navigating leadership in a world of shifting challenges.Building on the foundations laid in Tonga the year before, the Fiji symposium expanded the movement, attracting leaders from government, the business and development sectors, civil society, faith communities, media, youth networks, and academia.
The event strengthened the region’s commitment to values based, culturally grounded leadership that honours the Pacific Way while preparing leaders to serve with purpose, clarity, and resilience.

The programme delivered a rich combination of keynote sessions, leadership workshops, storytelling, panel discussions, and practical learning circles. Participants explored themes including adaptive leadership, navigating uncertainty, building influence with integrity, and strengthening leadership ecosystems across the Pacific.
The environment in Fiji brought warmth, connection, and a sense of unity. Delegates were encouraged to reflect deeply on their purpose, sharpen their leadership mindset, and build strong relationships with fellow leaders from across the region.

The symposium gathered a diverse group of leaders representing Fiji and neighbouring Pacific nations. It included senior public servants, faith leaders, entrepreneurs, educators, community advocates, media professionals, and young emerging leaders and development sector practitioners.
The programme was supported by regional leadership practitioners and partners who contributed tools, insights, and cultural depth to the sessions. Participants from the 2023 Tonga symposium attended the Fiji Event, strengthening the growing network of Legacy Leadership alumni.
