Event Overview
The Legacy Leadership Symposium 2025 was held in Auckland, New Zealand and marked the most diverse gathering in the programme’s history. Bringing together leaders from across the region, and the diaspora, the event focused on the theme “High Road Leaders.”
Participants explored what it means to lead from conviction, character, and purpose while navigating the complexities of modern leadership in the Pacific and beyond. This symposium represented a major milestone in establishing a strong, connected, and values centred regional leadership movement.

The programme featured keynote presentations from respected Pacific and international leadership voices, interactive workshops, reflection spaces, and powerful cultural moments that highlighted Pacific identity.
Delegates engaged in sessions covering ethical leadership, crisis readiness, innovation, spiritual grounding, and leadership resilience. Practical tools and frameworks were introduced to help leaders apply what they learned in individual journeys, families, workplaces, communities, and national contexts.

The Auckland symposium brought together an exceptional mix of leaders: academics, coaches, community organisers, creatives, development sector practitioners, entrepreneurs, public servants,church faith leaders, media professionals, sports administrators, and youth advocates.
The event also brought together the largest number of Legacy Leadership Alumni from Tonga and Fiji, showcasing the growth and reach of the movement. The programme team and regional partners created an environment that honoured culture, faith, and the shared values at the heart of Pacific leadership.
