The Leadership Legacy Symposium PNG 2026 is a flagship regional gathering that brings together leaders, policy makers, practitioners and changemakers from across the Pacific. The symposium provides a space for learning, dialogue and collaboration grounded in Pacific values, leadership and legacy.
Participants will engage in leadership sessions, regional conversations and practical learning experiences designed to strengthen leadership pathways and foster long term impact across our communities.
Registration and Visa Information
To support participants attending the symposium in Papua New Guinea please review the visa application categories and requirements carefully.
Participants Applying Online
1. Official or Diplomatic Passport Holders
- Participants holding official or diplomatic passports must apply online under the Special Exemption or Foreign Official Visa category.
- No Migration Service Fee or administration fee is required.
2. Standard Passport Holders
- Participants holding standard passports must apply online for a Business Visa (Single Entry).
- Migration Service Fee and administration fee apply and must be paid during the online application process.
3. Melanesian Spearhead Group Passport Holders
- Passport holders from Melanesian Spearhead Group countries are eligible to collect a visa on arrival.
- No Migration Service Fee is required.
- These participants do not apply online but must carry all required visa documentation to present on arrival.
4. Pacific Islands Forum Member Countries
- Passport holders from Pacific Islands Forum member countries are eligible to collect a visa on arrival and must pay the prescribed Migration Service Fee on arrival.
Visa Requirements
All participants regardless of visa category must have the following documents available:
• Return flight itinerary
• Passport bio data page
• Official invitation letter
• Completed supplementary health form
Participants collecting visas on arrival must also present all required documents at immigration.
Important Information
Australian and New Zealand passport holders are not eligible for visa on arrival and must apply online prior to travel.
Participants are strongly advised to apply online through the official eVisa portal where applicable and pay the required Migration Service Fee and administration fee.
Please note that administration fees cannot be waived under any circumstances.
